The LX-308B is a true stereo eight-channel line-level mixer which may also be used as a sixteen-channel mono mixing unit. It may be used by itself or as an expander for larger consoles. Some typical applications for the LX-308B include broadcast studios, satellite downlink distribution, or permanent installations involving multiple stereo line-level sources such as boardrooms. Each input of the LX-308B has front panel level and pan controls and individual channel muting switches with LED status indicators. Channels One and Two are switchable for either microphone or line-level input. Two five-segment LED meters indicate stereo output levels and clip indicator LEDs monitor all internal circuitry to warn of any possible overload. Stereo headphones may be connected to the front of the mixer, and the headphone output has its own level control. Pre-Master sub inputs and outputs may be used for linking the LX-308B to other mixers, such as the Ashly MX-508. The LX-308B provides precise line-level mixing control in an attractive, rack-mountable package.
